The name Lila & George is inspired from 2 rescue dogs living in South Florida

Lila was adopted in February 2020 as a 9 wk old puppy. Her initial name was Stella but was very quickly changed to her actual name "Lila". She was a few days old when she was found by a rescue in North Carolina. She was nursed to be a healthy and strong puppy and was brought to South Florida where she found her forever home. She loves car rides, walks, treats and food in general, chasing iguanas and squirrels.

George was found on the side of the road in October 2024 in North Miami by his future human. He almost got hit by a car and people were shooing him off right in front of his human. He was extremely frightened and agitated. He was not even a year old. The shelter being full, his human had 2 options:

- Leave him where he was found (and fend for himself)

- Take him home

The choice was easy.

He is very goofy, playful and he loves treats, walks and being with Lila.

The idea behind the brand Lila&George is to spread the love we have for our pets and as the brand grows, to distribute part of our profits to rescues across the globe to help the animals that were not as lucky as Lila and George.
